The health and safety of our attendees, partners, staff, exhibitors and volunteers is paramount to MWHCEC.

Q: Will this event be in-person?

A: Yes. In compliance with the health and safety guidelines outlined by local jurisdictions, we expect to hold MWHCEC 2021 in-person this fall. We hope to see you there and celebrate the hard work healthcare engineers are doing to keep all of us safe.

Q: Will there be any changes to the event this year?

A: Yes. As a result of COVID-19, several changes have been made to MWHCEC. Our schedule has been adjusted to minimize the amount of time engineers will be out of their facilities, and pricing has been reduced accordingly.

The health and safety of our attendees and exhibitors is our number one priority. We will follow public health guidelines for events of this nature. We are working closely with all vendors, including the Indiana Convention Center, to enact guidelines regarding social distancing, cleaning, sanitizing, PPE requirements, face coverings, etc. during the event and will communicate that information as we know more.

Q: What happens if the event is cancelled?

A: If a stay-at-home order forces the event to be cancelled, all attendees and exhibitors will receive a full refund.

Q: What is MWHCEC doing to ensure the safety of attendees?

A: We understand that some people may be concerned about public gatherings, and some companies are putting corporate travel restrictions into place. Anyone who is unable to attend due to government-imposed travel restrictions will be eligible for a full refund.

Q: What new protocols can I expect at the Convention Center?

A: The Indiana Convention Center has made a number of updates designed with attendee safety in mind. View a video overview here:

Q: How can I help?
A: We know hospital budgets have been hit hard, and that many engineers will have to pay out of pocket to attend. We are offering a new Sponsor an Attendee program to assist these workers. Learn more.
